Hello everyone! Today, we have a beautiful Altered Wooden and Wire Heart Jewelry Wall Hanging to share with you. Design Team Member, Anna Fallas created this pretty piece.
Anna found this wooden and chicken wire heart at her local Joann store. She painted it using parchment and Martha Stewart pearl acrylic paints. Then she used beautiful laces and trims along with metal embellishments to alter the heart.
Here you can see Anna added lace trim and flat back pearls all around the heart. Then she added a cluster of flowers along the bottom side. She used some of the Bronze Flower Metal Filigree Embellishment (#114-B) to create these fun little butterflies. To create the butterflies Anna used two of the filigree pieces and then she cut one petal from each filigree. Next she bent the filigree pieces in the center and then layered the two pieces for the butterfly. She also added a Bronze Filigree Bead Cap (#CAP040-B) and some SS16 Light Colorado Topaz Flat Back Glass Rhinestones to the center of the butterfly. To finish them off she added some pearl sprays.
Here is a close up of the butterflies.
ere is the flower cluster on the other side of the heart. Anna also tucked in a couple of the Bronze Heart Metal Filigree Embellishment (#023-B) with the flowers.
Here is a close up of the flowers and you can see the metal heart filigree pieces peeking out.
