If you’re looking for more inspiration, you have come to the right place 🙂 Today I have a couple of birthday cards and a gift tag created by design team member Monica Roca to share with you.
Monica’s first card is light and airy, not to mention beautiful! She matted the white card base with a shimmer cardstock and topped it with a Mediterranean Lace Frame die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs to create the background. Monica mirrored two flowers made using the Judy’s Bloom die (Cheery Lynn Designs), and backed each with two Bronze Leaf Metal Filigree Embellishments (#150-B) from ButterBeeScraps. In the center of the flowers, Monica added a Bronze Filigree Bead Cap (#CAP041-B) and an SS16 Light Colorado Topaz Flat Back Glass Rhinestone. Finally, she added Bronze Corner Metal Filigree Embellishments (#807-B) in opposite corners of the card front and a few SS12 Light Colorado Topaz Flat Back Glass Rhinestones in the center of the card to bling it up a bit.
Monica decided to create a matching gift tag for her first card…brilliant! She stamped and embossed a gold flourish to create a background for her flower, and used the same sentiment stamp and cut-out along the top of the tag.
For her second card, Monica moved from light to dark accents, and used many of the same embellishments as on her first card. She used the same shimmer cardstock and layered two flourish and two Cape Cod Doily (Cheery Lynn Designs) die-cuts to create the background for this card.
If you’re wanting a good look at the inside of these cards, please hop on over to visit Monica on her YouTube channel where she has published a video of these stunning cards. If you are familiar with Monica’s work, you will already know that the inside of these cards truly is just as beautiful as the fronts.
Thank you for stopping by today! Cheers!!!
