Design Traveler’s Mini Album by Marina Wilson

Good morning, everyone!  I have a project share to help brighten the start of another work week 🙂  Design team member, Marina Wilson created another drool-worthy mini album.  Marina used 3 different paper collections to create this album – Tim Holtz “Destinations, 7 Gypsies “American Vintage”, and The Paper Studio “Rock Island”.  Here’s a look at the cover:

You can see that marina added some bronze corner protectors (#HD352-B) to the corners of her covers.  For the closure, she layered two bead caps (#CAP 055-B and #CAP055-S) under an antique bronze drawer pull.  She then attached an elastic to the back cover that can be hooked around the drawer pull 🙂

Marina wrapped the binding in leather and added a chunky charm…who doesn’t like a chunky charm, eh?  On the charm, Marina included items that you might find when travelling – a globe, postcard, airplane and a key.  She also added a few more metal bits from ButterBeeScraps, including a couple of small round bronze charms (#J176-B), a medium bronze gear, and a black suede tassel.

Marina did use Kathy Orta King’s “My Design Mini Album” tutorial to create this mini, and she did a great job of packing it full of great pockets, flips, flaps and tuck points!  Here’s a quick look inside her mini:

…see what I mean?  This mini will reveal new little nooks and crannies every time you open it!   You’re definitely going to want to head over to Marina’s YouTube channel and check out the video she uploaded of this beauty.  She does a complete walk-through of the entire thing.

I hope you enjoyed yet another gorgeous project by Marina…I know I did.  Thanks for popping by and I’ll be back with another project to share with you on Wednesday 🙂  Cheers!
