Good afternoon, everyone! It has been a while, so definitely time for another project share! Today I have a wonderful mixed media ATC by design team member, Keri Sallee, to share with you 🙂 Here’s a look at another inspiring piece of art by this very talented lady:
Keri started off by creating a colorful background using acrylic paint. She then added a strip of cotton ribbon (#RB042-N) from the ButterBeeScraps shop near the bottom of her card. Over the ribbon, Keri layered an antique bronze drawer pull (#HD098-B) and covered the holes with SS12 Light Colorado Topaz flat back rhinestones. She then added her quote under the drawer pull using some word stickers from Splash of Color.
Here’s a closer look at the bottom of her ATC:
Now…how about that beautiful focal point? …
Keri used a blue resin cameo with a dancing angel on it (#CAM23-BL) as her focal point, and framed it using a large bronze frame (#F623-B). Keri then altered a Grungeboard crown by Tim Holtz and added it above the cameo. She finished her ATC by adding some more word stickers and SS12 Light Colorado Topaz rhinestones to the tips of the crown.
I hope you found Keri’s project inspiring, and find some creative time for yourself, too! If you’re interested in seeing more inspirational projects by Keri, I suggest you hop on over the her blog 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend…cheers!
