Filigree Step Card

Who doesn’t like a great handmade card idea?  Well, I have a gorgeous step card created by Monica Roca to share with you today 🙂  Monica created the card base using a pale green cardstock from Stampin’ Up and the Step Card #1 die from Cheerylynn Designs.  For the background paper, she used Marion Smith’s Vintage Telegram digital paper.

Once the background was created, Monica did her magic by layering six of the new Bronze Square Metal Filigree Embellishments (#732-B), die cuts from Spellbinders Tranquil Moments and Venetian Motifs sets, and a flower created using her Judy’s Bloom die from Cheerylynn Designs.  To finish the flower, Monica tucked two Bronze Leaf Metal Filigree Embellishments (#671-B) under the flower, and added a Bronze Round Metal Filigree Embellishment (#288-B) and SS30 Light Colorado Topaz flat back rhinestone to the center.

Finally, Monica added a few final touches by adding SS16 Light Colorado Topaz Flat Back Glass Rhinestones to the doily backing the flower and one Bronze Metal Filigree Embellishment (#020-B) on each side border.

If you are wanting a closer view of the card, or just want to listen to Monica’s sweet voice, I suggest you watch the video she uploaded to YouTube 🙂  While you’re there, I hope you show her some love by liking her video or leaving her a comment.  If you want to tell me how much you love this card, please leave me a comment below…it really does help 🙂  Thank you so much for stopping by today!
