G45 Time to Flourish Flip Calendar by Monique Mason

Good day, everyone!  I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend…I know I did!  I was lucky enough to attend a scrapbooking retreat just south of the border, and met some wonderful ladies…Becky, Karen, Leslie, Ginger (My Sister’s Scrapper) and Kathy 🙂

While we were there, Ginger taught a class in which we all made flip calendars using Graphic 45’s “Time to Flourish” paper collection.  You can find Ginger’s original calendar right HERE.  So…I thought, why not share my calendar with everyone today?

We all received a little clipboard style stand from Close to My Heart, and embellished 12 pages to hang on the stand.  Each page represented a different month.  Here’s a look at my January:

The picture on the left is the front of the page.  The large pocket holds a couple of tags with one of them being the monthly calendar:

Of course, I had to add some metal and bling each page up a little bit.  I used Bronze Eyelets around the top two holes of every page, and used a few SS16 and SS12 Clear Flat Back Crystal Rhinestones in the corners.  For the month of January, I also added a Bronze Snowflake Metal Filigree Embellishment (#203-B) in the lower left hand corner of the page.   Like on many of the other pages, I also used a small Bronze Corner Metal Filigree Embellishment (#730-B) to accent the corner on the top of the main pocket.

Here’s a quick look at the rest of the months and a list of the additional filigrees I added to each:

february

march

april

may

june

july

august

  • Bronze Metal Filigree Embellishment (#022-B) – discontinued

october

november

december

Like I said above, I can’t take credit for the original design…that was all Ginger.  All I did was add a few personal touches to each month 🙂  I hope you enjoyed the plethora of pictures today, and hope you have a great week.  Cheers!

Beautiful Monique 🙂 I have all the paper to start mine, waiting till I finish making my “Old World” (Bo Bunny weekend market) scrapbook. It’s nice to see what you did with the calendar, I want to do mine a bit different as well so other ideas are great 🙂

Monique, I love how you added your own flare to the collection! They turned out fantastic! February and October are my favorites. This looks like it was so much fun! Thanks for sharing!
