ICE Resin Necklace Pendant and Wing Earrings by Heidi Blankenship

Good morning, peoples in web-land!  Well, last post I shared the sad news that Monica was leaving the design team…sniff, sniff.  Today, I am sad to say that Heidi is also leaving the team 🙁  On the bright side…we get one last project from her 🙂  For her last project, Heidi created a beautiful resin necklace pendant and some wing earrings.

ice resin bezel necklace pendant

Heidi started her pendant by gluing a digital image from ArtCult on Etsy into a bronze rectangular bezel.  She then poured ICE Resin into the bezel and let it set overnight.  She then embellished the pendant by adding one of the new Bronze Metal Filigree Embellishments (#550-B) to the bottom, and glued some copper micro beads around the filigree.  Heidi blinged up the pendant by adding SS12 Light Colorado Topaz Flat Back Glass Rhinestones along the top.

To finish the pendant, Heidi added a beaded dangle she created using a Bronze Ball End Head Pin, a Bronze Filigree Bead Cap (#CAP052-B), a 6mm Clear Rhinestone and Bronze Rondelle Spacer Bead (#BD006-B/CL) and a couple of beads from her stash.

Heidi created her wing earrings using the new, absolutely fabulous, Stainless Steel Wings Metal Filigree Embellishments (#686-ST) along with the new Silver Shepard Hook Earring Wires w/ Rhinestones (#J594-S).  …and jewelry isn’t jewelry without bling, right?  So, Heidi added an SS12, an SS16 and an SS20 Clear AB Flat Back Crystal Rhinestone to each wing.

I hope you enjoyed this project today.  If you are as sad to see Heidi go as I am and want to continue following her, you can always pop on over to her blog to keep up to date on what she is doing 🙂  For now, I thank you so much for visiting me here on my blog 🙂  Cheers!
