Make the Most Card by Keri Sallee

Good morning, everyone!  OMG, I can’t even tell you how much I loved Creativation this weekend!!!  This was my first time attending, and I’ll definitely be coming again given the opportunity!  BUT…that is not why I am writing this post today…I have a wonderful project created by Keri Sallee to share with you today:

Keri started by layering a couple of different prints that she created using her Gel Press onto a kraft card base.  She did tear the edges of the prints before layering them, and used a bit of distress ink to grunge up the front of her card.

Once the base of her card was assembled, Keri added a large bronze, silver and copper arrow charm to the front.  These charms do have a hole on the feather end, so Keri opted to cover the holes with some SS20 Vitrail AB Flat Back Glass Rhinestones.

I know I’ve said this before, but I really feel the need to say it again…the color of these rhinestones is breath taking!  Photos just cannot capture the color of these beauties.  They change from pink to purple to green as they twinkle!  Here’s a little closer look from a different angle:

I hope you enjoyed this project and it inspires you to break out some inks and paints and get a little bit (or a lot) messy making some of your own backgrounds.  For more details on how Keri created this card, please hop on over to her blog and have a boo.  Cheers and thanks for popping on by!
