Mixed Media Letter ‘K’ by Keri Sallee

Good morning, everyone!  I have a little pick-me-up for you this Monday morning…it’s a beautiful mixed media project created by Keri Sallee 🙂 Check out this altered letter ‘K’ she created:

Keri started with a wooden letter ‘K’ that she picked up from her local craft store, and sprayed it with Testors CreateFX texture paint that looks just like sand.  Once the paint was dry, she inked around the edges of her letter and added several butterfly rub-ons by 7 Gypsies.

You can see that Keri added an Antique Bronze Drawer Pull (#HD098-B) way up on the top of the letter.  Here’s a closer look:

Keri also layered one of the charms from the “Creative Clocks” charm collection on a round bronze filigree (#286-B) in the lower left hand corner.  To finish her project, she added a belly band of sorts made from hemp string and a Small Bronze Rectangular Bezel Frame (#F018-B) from the ButterBeeScraps shop:

I have to say, I do look forward to seeing Keri’s projects because I’m always learning something from her!  I hope you learned something, as well 🙂  If you’d like some more details on how she created this, hop on over to her blog and have a read of her post.  Thanks for popping by!  Cheers!
