Paris Chunky Charm & Tulip Earrings by Marina Wilson

Good morning, everyone!  I have a quick project share for you this morning 🙂  Design team member, Marina Wilson created a fabulous Paris themed chunky charm and a pair of tulip earrings using some of the goodies from ButterBeeScraps.  Here’s a look at the charm she created:

Marina started her charm using a large bronze lobster clasp (#CL168-B) and some bronze cable chain (#CH783-B) from the ButterBeeScraps shop.  She then attached several small charms to the chain using jump rings.  She added a couple of bead dangles, a wooden button, miniature glass bottle, miniature bronze bell, bottle cap, an Eiffel Tower charm, and a couple of keys.  To finish the charm, Marina added a couple of small pieces of dyed seam binding and red fiber.

Here’s a look at the earrings that Marina created:

I absolutely LOVE the tulip bead caps (#CAP015-B) that Marina used to make these earrings!  She first altered the tulip bead caps using some Vintage Quartz Patina by Ranger mixed with a little bit of the Patina Glaze.  After the patina had dried, she used a buffing block to expose some of the bronze of the bead caps.  Marina then hung several strands of bronze curb chain (#CH481-B) from the center of the tulip shaped bead cap, and added a single small rhinestone charm from the chain on each earring.  On the top, Marina added a couple of filigree bead caps – one gold and one bronze (#CAP857-G and #CAP827-B) – on each earring.

Well, I hope you liked this project today.  If you’d like a closer look at all of the details of this charm and pair of earrings, please hop on over to Marina’s Youtube channel and have a boo at the video she uploaded.  As always, I am grateful that you decided to pop by and visit my blog today.  Enjoy the rest of your week…Cheers!
