Good morning, everyone!!! I hope that you all had a fantastic long weekend! Well, today I am trying something a little different…I am featuring an older project created by my design team, and I’m calling it my “retro replay” 🙂 I’ll be doing this from time to time to feature some older projects that may have been lost in the abyss we call the worldwide web.
Today’s “retro replay” is a project created by design team member Heidi Blankenship back in March of this year. She created a stunning patina flower filigree bracelet using many of the products from the ButterBeeScraps shop.
Heidi first added a patina finish to all of the filigree pieces, then shaped them to fit her wrist. She layered a Bronze Metal Filigree Embellishment (#316-B) and Bronze Dimensional Flower Metal Filigree Embellishments (#7635-B) to create the focal point of this gorgeous bracelet. She then added a bit of bling to the center of the flower using SS16 and SS12 Vitrail AB Flat Back Glass Rhinestones. I must tell you…if you haven’t seen this color of rhinestone in person, you are really missing out! Trust me…pictures just cannot capture the full beauty of these rhinestones. They change from green to purple and even pink tones…SO GORG!!!
Okay…enough of my sales pitch on these rhinestones (but seriously…you NEED these in your life!)…how did Heidi finish this bracelet off? Well, due to the size of the centerpiece, she chose to use two strands of some Bronze Figaro Curb Chain (#CH206-B) just to add some visual balance. Finally, she used a Bronze Toggle Clasp (#CL071-B) for the closure.
If you think this project was worth the second look, please let me know in the comments below…I am so lonely over here in all this silence 🙁 If you are too shy to say ‘hi’, that’s totally okay…I still completely appreciate the time you spent reading this post and thank you for popping on by 🙂 Until next time…

Hi! I’m new to your site. I so wish I’d known about your store sooner.
Anyway, I was TRYING to comment on how awesome it would be to “work” for you, with access to ALL of the beautiful pieces you offer.
Somehow, while reading your post, I was imagining Heidi actually working at your “store” having full access to the entire warehouse of all your pieces, and I thought to myself how awesome would this be? (I now understand she’s part of your design team. I’m quite the dunce! ;-))
This is kinda funny, but when you asked to leave a comment, I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to leave a comment! LOL! So, if I’m comment challenged I certainly have no business even thinking I could make jewelry! What a mess! LOL!!
I LOVE this bracelet!! So definitely worth a “second look!” I sure wish I had that kind of talent!
Thanks for posting and thank you for your time!! I wish you an awesome day!!
