Good morning, everyone! I have a wonderful project created by design team member Keri Sallee to share with you this morning 🙂
Before I get to that, though…I have some important news. The ButterBeeScraps website will be down for some site maintenance this week. I am preparing the website for the forum I’ve been working on so that we can get a little more connected with each other 🙂 The plan is for the website to be down starting Thursday, September 8th at 8am PST (that’s tomorrow!). I hope to have it up and running within 48 hours…I apologize in advance for any inconvenience 🙁
Okay…now onto the really important stuff…Keri’s gorgeous 12″ x 12″ scrapbook layout:
Yeah, I know…yum! Keri created those amazing black hexagons using her gel press. She then splattered a whole bunch of different Americana neon colored acrylic paints to create her background. For some added pop, Keri then used the same acrylic paints to change up the color of some of the ButterBeeScraps doilies, and tucked them under her picture.
Keri then framed her picture using a variety of ButterBeeScraps metal, including a variety of miniature, medium and large gears, and a few of the large silver arrow charms. Here’s a close up of some of the layering she did using the metal:
I really like how she added those wings to the small gear! Well…I hope you like Keri’s project today, and I hope it inspires you to get a little creative this week! If you’d like to see exactly how Keri created her background, you can hop on over to her blog and watch the video she recorded 🙂 Thank you so much for popping by…Cheers!
