Stunning Necklaces by Heidi

Have you ever heard the term “great minds think alike”?  Well, this week design team members Heidi and Anna were in sync using the same Bronze Tibetan Style Connector (Item #J368-B) from our shop to create some stunning necklaces, showing just how versatile our products are.  Today, we will be sharing three stunning necklaces created by Heidi.

On her first necklace, Heidi used the Silver Wings Tibetan Charms (#J327-S), a Bronze Fleur-de-lis Filigree Embellishment (Item #940-B), and a black Resin Flower Cabochons (#RES606-BK) to create the focal point.  Heidi added a patina to the wings using Rub N Buff (Patina) and finished everything off with some silver micro beads and SS12 Clear Flat Back Glass Rhinestones.

Finally, Heidi hung some small flat aqua beads from the bronze connector base, and a beaded dangle created using Bronze Ball End Head Pins, Bronze Filigree Bead Caps (Item #CAP114-B), Clear Rhinestone and Bronze Rondelle Spacer Beads – 6mm (#BD006-B/CL)8x12mm Clear AB Faceted Glass Teardrop Beads, and 6x8mm Clear AB Faceted Glass Abacus Beads.

On her second necklace, Heidi used three of our Gunmetal Dimensional Flower Metal Filigree Embellishments (#7005-GM) backed by Bronze Leaf Metal Filigree Embellishments (#150-B).  She colored the leaves and roses using Lumiere Pearlescent EmeraldPearlescent Magenta, and Halo Pink Gold Paint.  After the paint was dry, Heidi used some steel wool to remove some of the paint and add a shabby look to the necklace.

Finally, Heidi added some  SS10 Vitrail AB Flat Back Glass RhinestonesSS12 Vitrail AB Flat Back Glass RhinestonesSS16 Vitrail AB Flat Back Glass Rhinestones surrounding the roses, and some beaded drops created using Bronze Ball End Head Pins, Bronze Filigree Bead Caps (#CAP052-B), and three different sizes of pink beads from her stash.

Since the first two necklaces were large statement pieces, Heidi chose to tone down her third necklace and leave most of the base bronze connector exposed.  For her focal point, she used some frosted leaves and a pearl white rose between two Clear Resin Embellishments (Item #RES823-CL).  Lastly, Heidi created the beaded dangles using Bronze Ball End Head Pins, clear bicone beads and white pearl beads.
