Good morning, everyone! I have another treat for you today…more eye candy from design team member, Marina Wilson 🙂 Today, Marina decided to alter a book using Pink Paislee’s “Vintage Vogue” paper collection, a few Tim Holtz metals, and ButterBeeScraps goodies, of course. Here’s a look at the beautiful cover she created:
Marina used the Pink Paislee papers and a few Tim Holtz embellishments to jazz up the cover of her altered book….but, we cannot forget about that beautiful chunky charm she added to the spine:
…here’s where all the ButterBeeScraps yummies come in. Marina used a variety of beads, caps and baubles to create the charm, then punctuated it with that fantastic frame with a lady’s silhouette in it. For a closure, Marina opted to use a long piece of silk ribbon wrapped around the book several times.
Not only did Marina alter the cover of this book, she also added some of the patterned paper with a few pockets and belly bands to the pages inside, as well. Here’s a look at a few of the pages inside her book:
For a closer look at these pages, and a complete flip-through of the book, please hop on over to Marina’s YouTube channel and have a boo at the video she uploaded 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my blog again today…I will chat at ya tomorrow for the second part of my mini album closure tutorial 😉 Cheers!
Awesome mini! I like the “clean” vintage look of it and the beautiful bead embellishments and ribbon wrap! Nice job!
