“When nothing…” ATC Card by Keri Sallee

Good afternoon, everyone!  It feels like forever since I have done a project share, so I figure I’d better not wait any longer to hopefully inspire you.  BUT…before I get to that, I just want to make sure you check out the changes I’ve been making in the shop to hopefully make shopping at ButterBeeScraps waaaaay easier.  If you’ve joined my VIP club, you already know about the changes.  For those of you that haven’t, here’s a quick recap…

First, I’m streamlining the ButterBeeScraps product line and have removed over 30 products from the shop (that will be offered in the form of more mystery bags very soon 🙂 ).  Secondly, I’ve started combining a bunch of products so scanning through the shop will be much faster.  So…if a filigree comes in 4 different metal colors, there will be one listing with an option to choose which metal color you’d like instead of 4 different products listed 🙂

Without further adieu, let’s get to the project share.  Keri Sallee created an inspirational and very cool ATC (artist trading card) for us all to oogle at:

I do love the image that Keri stamped onto the ATC card to frame her amazing assemblage of gears and watch movement charms.  Keri layered a variety of the miniature and medium sized gears along with two different sized watch mechanism charms onto her background.  She then added a little more color using the small glass watch mechanism cabochons (#CAB012-W), three of which she glued into small round bronze charms (#J176-B) before layering onto the gears.

Keri also added a quick pop of color in the upper right hand corner by painting a small butterfly filigree and gluing it onto the background.  Here’s a closer look at that butterfly:

Here’s another close up of some of her layering using the gears and charms:

To finish the card, Keri added some Tim Holtz words to create a wonderfully inspiration quote…”When nothing is sure, everything is possible.”  I hope you enjoyed this project today.  It’s got me wanting to break out some of those gears.  I have recently revamped all the gear packs, and will be updating the product pictures very shortly.  For now, if you decide to order some gears, you are sure to be pleasantly surprised with some amazing new designs 🙂

This project is perfect when you have a very busy schedule, so I hope it’s inspired you to treat yourself to a little bit of create time.  Thank you for popping by today!  If you’d like to share some love with Keri and let her know how much you like her ATC, please hop on over to her blog right over HERE.  Cheers!
